Jeep Renegade is probably the cheekiest car I've ever tested, and it's proof that the Americans (with a little help from the Italian, of course) can create a car with design details are more interesting than all the other competitors in his class put together. And while I will reserve my judgment on Renegade for another time (I was almost a week while seated left), I could not help but share the joy with all of you.
So here are 13 hidden Easter eggs design details or, if you prefer, you may have missed in the 2016 Jeep Renegade.
1. Jeep Grille and Jerry Can to Taillights
The rear lights square of Renegade is not just a nod to the roots of the brand as a symbol of freedom during World War II, but also better incorporate Jeep logo there.
2. Willy's Jeep on the Windshield
Oh hey, that's the original Jeep climb "rough terrain" on the windshield.
3. "No Step" in Plate Side
Too thick to be a board walk, but too thin to be a step board, Jeep decided to play with design ideas and put the plane-type "No Step" mark there.
4. Spider in Fuel Tank
You do not find yourself smiling every time you refuel the car, but the Renegade is the exception. Open the fuel filler and you will see a small spider is greeting you by: Ciao Baby! By Renegade gathered together the Fiat 500X, it makes sense for Jeep to play around with a little Italian.
5. Rearview Mirror Jeep Grille
Unsightly rearview mirror housing (which is also home to a variety of Renegade sensor) made more enjoyable by the inclusion of seven-slat Jeep grille.
6. More Jeep Grille on Speaker
Regardless of which finished in a nice, contrasting colors to brighten the cabin, there are more jobs logo here too.
7. Mud on the tachometer
Not exactly hidden, but toying with the Jeep Renegade redline to apply the mud as opposed to the usual red lines or numbers.
8. Moab in Map
If you find the time to look at the center console bin, see this nice rubber tray. Regardless of your mobile phone housing or lose the changes, it was also formed with a trail map in Moab, Utah. It was placed there because it is a natural habitat for the go-anywhere Jeep.
9. Jerry Cans for Cup Holder
Although it does not keep a cup of Starbucks latte or any beverage of your choice, holder shaped like a jerry can. Oh, and they lit as well.
10. Jeep logo on the Hatch Panel
The Jeep logo is actually found in the rear hatch panel.
11. It is for Bigfoot
When you're staring at the back of the Jeep logo, do not miss this one. this one is very small and very easy to lose (I actually had to Google it for confirmation). But you can see Bigfoot or Sasquatch up the mountain was also rear wiper mechanism.
12. Jeep Seat
Arriving with standard leather upholstery, Renegade proud of its place in the family Jeep to have a well-known logo debossed there for the whole world to see.
13. "Since 1941"
Found also in others like the Jeep Wrangler, the "Since 1941" indicates the birth year of the original Jeep Willy. It must be remembered that more than 16,000 Jeep made to serve the US army during World War II.
