Audi SQ2 breaks cover at the Nürburgring with up to 300bhp

A development mule SQ2 Audi has been spotted testing at the Nurburgring, revealing what the production version of the hot crossover could look like when it arrived around 2018 or 2019.

SQ2 will follow the form of the rest of the range S Audi with boasting more power and sporty design features of the standard model it is based on. The new spy photographs show that the changes will include a quad-exit exhaust, a more prominent rear diffuser, black front grille and bumper trim black.

Q2 usual is not sold until November this year, but the picture today confirmed Audi is already far more heat to the development version, which is expected to feature the same engine turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder as S3. In hot hatch, producing 306bhp, but insiders expect the crossover peak output stands at around 295bhp mark.

With this output, SQ2 will outpunch rivals such as the sporty 208bhp AMG Mercedes GLA 250 Line.

The price was far off confirmed, but given that the regular Q2 will sell from around £ 26,000, seems SQ2 which will cost approximately £ 35,000.

RS Q2

Insiders think a faster Q2 will join later became a lifelong production of models, possibly badged as an RS Q2 and utilizing the power of the same engine turbocharged five-cylinder as the RS3. In the car as much as 362bhp on offer, gives some idea of how powerful RS could Q2.
