What does it mean? My guess is that the management of the Aston Martin DB11 want to be the first car Aston GT class while combining handling with the ride quality of the class.
Personally, I still very much like the Aston Martin DB9 down the road but some customers - and some engineers Aston - thought the trip could be too strong at times. That the development team now includes several former Lotus engineer dynamics should cure it.
Lotus is known for making cars that ride properly and that craftsmanship landed in Gaydon is likely to perform compliance Alston chassis no harm at all.
And the handling? Well, the long wheelbase, large-capacity V12 front-engined, rear-drive layout must continue to take care of it.
