Corolla cabin today is easily the most exciting to date, and yes, we realize that's not saying much. However, it is clear that designers are given freedom more freely this time, and the result is quite stylish dashboard, with an un-Corolla flourish accents such as strikingly contoured steering wheel and shifter surround asymmetrical eye-catching. The top priority remains the ease of use, so that the various audio interfaces employ tried-and-true knobs for volume and tuning, while the LE-and-up automatic climate panel controls (lavish welcome in this price bracket) consists of a large knob and buttons are very easy some.
Another pleasant surprise is the 6.1-inch touchscreen interface, also standard on LE and above, which provides a large virtual buttons and a simple, clear graphics. The screen responds quickly to inputs, and a generous feature set to offer economy cars. The available Entune App Suite integrates service-connected smartphone from Bing, Facebook, Yelp and Pandora, among others, as well as traffic data and real-time sports and stock information. Note that start with Entune can be a bit troublesome, because you have to install an application on your phone and sign up for an account.
The front seats provide comfort Corolla generally adequate, especially a better seat-powered S trim, though some may wish for more lumbar support. Also, longer-legged drivers can use a range of more than telescoping steering wheel. Partly thanks to the 3.9-inch-wheelbase longer than the previous Corolla, a car while offering legroom is much more behind than most small sedan, if not a commensurate amount of headroom. Center rear position is made more welcoming with a nearly flat floor, which does not have the traditional central "hump." Luggage capacity is average at 13 cubic feet, but the wide opening to facilitate loading and unloading.Driving Impressions
Although a complete redesign last year, the 2015 Toyota Corolla gives much the same driving experience as its predecessor. In part, to the tried-and-true but generally underwhelming 1.8-liter Toyota engine. Acceleration is adequate but nothing more. Eco LE version gets some tweaks add some horsepower, but we can not detect the difference. We do like the CVT, because it has a "shift" -simulasi computer to reduce the typical CVT-rpm constant drone during acceleration. Skip archaic four-speed automatic on the base L unless the price is just too good to pass up.
Handling Corolla, also familiar. Sporty S-slim touch though, there was no messing around can be found here; otherwise, enthusiastic driving around turned out to meet with the steering feels lifeless and pronounced body roll. Instead, this car is all about no-hassle commuting comfort, with calm, in accordance journey that makes the daily grind seem less severe.
