Overall Rating
There is a reason why the CR-V has been popular for many years, and a new generation of vehicles is no exception. Many car buyers will be turned off by the looks diminutive from the exterior of the vehicle, but in the sitting room plenty of room for five people and enough cargo. Combining with mileage respectable fuel and legendary Honda reliability and CR-V makes sense as a utilitarian vehicle, but cheap to own. For the price, this vehicle is also equipped with many technology makes the driver feel spoiled.
The big drawback of the CR-V is that the four-cylinder engine at times can feel outmatched when the vehicle is full and try to climb the steep hill or ravine road. What does not help matters is that the automatic transmission does not have a manual mode, which is commonly found in competing vehicles. However, the CR-V is a great buy for a compact crossover SUV.
If you are in the market for a compact crossover SUV, check out the sporty and luxurious Volkswagen Tiguan. Ford Escape and Hyundai Santa Fe are both providing a lot of facilities in a package that is more reasonable. Toyota RAV4 is also worth seeing, but do not provide a lot of technology.
