Land Cruiser is the de facto flagship of the Toyota line-up, with the highest price and luxury features most of every vehicle offered by the brand. Rugged body-on frame design means Land Cruise is something of an anachronism - mostly SUVs have switched to fuel-efficient unibody construction is lighter and more - but it also makes one of the most capable off-roading vehicles of all time.

A six-speed automatic transmission provide silk shift and offers a wide spread of gears to maximize efficiency, although the fuel economy is about what can be expected: 13 in the city and 18 on the highway, the product of large Land Cruiser motor and larger masses.
